“The only thing I know for sure is how much I don’t know” – this is how learning about wine can feel a lot of the time. When people talk about wine it feels like they are speaking a different language – and often times, they are. I began offering custom wine education classes about a year ago – these classes will not turn you into a master sommelier – but they will increase your confidence when talking to one!
One Class
In one class, we will cover how to read a wine label, common wine terminology, important regions + their well known wines, as well as basics of how to taste wine. Material is slightly customizable based on interests, includes 3-4 wines and 1-2 cheeses.
Three Classes
In my three class series, you’ll get a deeper dive into how to read a wine list, learning how to talk about your personal wine preferences and get to taste a wider range of food + wines. Material is customizable based on interests, includes 3-4 wines per class and 2-3 snacks.
Custom Classses
Want more? I will design a custom series of classes for you and your group based on your specific interests. Think: Bordeaux vs Napa, sweet wine, sparkling wine, or a dive into more complex wine regions.
