👋🏼 About Me

Hi there, my name is Bonnie! I have spent the majority of my life in the hospitality industry — from restaurants to hotels, doing anything from cooking and bartending to event management.

I first learned about wine while studying at Cornell University, and it was in the Finger Lakes where I had my first “aha” moment with wine, specifically with Rieslings. After going to culinary school and deciding I definitely did not want to be a chef, I realized wine encapsulated what I loved about the hospitality industry, almost more so than the food.

I’ve loved to travel from a young age (thanks, mom and dad!) and while I love a beach vacation, I always try to plan my travels to include a wine region. I’ve always found that to truly discover a place, the food and wine will tell you more than any guidebook can. Wine is always intertwined with history and the culture of a place, and that’s what I love about it.

I am a certified sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and a certified wine specialist through the Society of Wine Educators. I also host private wine tastings through In Good Taste.
